happy st. patrick’s day!! hope you get lucky today!! and hope you remembered to wear your green 
just a quick update on ashley. the surgery went better than planned and lasted 6 hours instead of 8. the best news is that she might get to come home 2 days early and she’s going to be 1-1/2 inches taller!! she’s still pretty drugged up, but she was coherent enough to recognize my parents and have brief conversations with them. she’s in pain, but as far as i know they seem to be regulating it well. please keep ben (her husband) in your prayers this week as she’s in the hospital and he’s at home. stay tuned for any updates that i know of. thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers for our family.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Al! I just caught myself up on over a year of your posts in the last couple of nights. I love them all!
I will definitely keep your sister and your family in my prayers in the upcoming days. Please tell her I say hi, if you talk to her soon. I can’t wait to see you… only six more days until I’m in sunny California!
